The Multisensory Herbarium

The museum devotes attention and resources to initiatives that enable the visitor to approach the world of the rose in an original, creative way. The multisensory herbarium is an emotional experience that involves all five senses, a direct encounter with nature, which allows the visitor to rediscover long-forgotten sensations and experience new ones for the first time.

The Bottega and its products

All products in the shop are dedicated to the rose: books, postcards, bookmarks… rose syrup and rose petal jam are just some of the delicacies available in the museum shop. Gardening aprons, bags and hats are all one-off, made exclusively by hand.

The Nursery

The Museo Giardino della Rosa Antica has over 600 varieties of roses grown in its own garden, potted and available for purchase and planting at any time of the year. If your chosen variety is not immediately available, you can order it and the gardeners will produce it for you. Roses are certified, carefully packaged and can be shipped all over Italy.

La Location

The Museum includes a large exhibition room and several reception areas.

It is the ideal location for events, courses, exhibitions, seminars, meetings and concerts, with the rose either in the spotlight or in the background.

The queen of flowers plays a starring role year-round in all kinds of events held at the Museum.

Courses

Experts from the museum are available to work together with you, sharing their experience and expertise about rose care. Courses are organised throughout the year.

Design, Gardens and Projects

Within the Museum we offer a landscape design service, working on both large and small projects. After an initial meeting to understand your requirements, we conduct a technical survey so as then to create the project together. In addition to overseeing and carrying out all work, we offer a scheduled maintenance service aimed at ongoing care and growth.
